Georgian 15ct Gold & Diamond Shaped Paste Ring

Georgian rings are always sought after. They have such charm and many were made using paste instead of diamonds that were inordinately expensive and rare at the time.  This example was made circa 1760-1780.  The paste has been foiled to give it a subtle luminescence and is pinch collet set in to a shell mount.  The trifurcated shoulders are a pretty design. A wonderful ring that is in really good condition.
