This is a little masterpiece of late Georgian workmanship. It is a small size and is 18ct gold and has been claw set with a beautiful pale pink topaz that has been foiled to the reverse with pink foil. The result is a stunning subtle pink colour with a halo effect around it. The shank is repoussé work featuring roses and shells. The repoussé technique is shaped or ornamented patterns in relief made by hammering or pressing on the reverse side.
