French 19th Century 18ct Gold Bracelet with Winged Cherub

558Y
Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

A beautiful heavy gauge 18ct gold bracelet that was made in France circa 1880. In the centre is a winged cherub suspended between two bars. The bracelet is a curb design with balls and a hidden tongue clasp with a safety chain for added security. Cherubs traditionally stand for protection so it would have been given with love to an adored daughter or bride perhaps.
