Edwardian Platinum & Diamond Pink Topaz Pendant on Platinum Chain

№ A62
Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

A stunning pendant that was made circa 1900-1910. It is a gorgeous sinuous design that is all about the fabulous natural pink topaz in the centre. It has an approximate weight of 4.01 carats. and is a beautiful saturated pink colour. Pink topaz is a valuable and rare stone especially large stones such as this one. Precious topaz comes in a diverse array of gorgeous colours. It has a unique crystal structure that makes it a hard and dense gemstone. Topaz’s reds and pinks are caused by chromium within the stone. This stone was most likely mined in Russia. It is surrounded by graduated diamonds that continue up the pendant to a diamond set bale. There is a natural oval shaped pearl at the base. It comes with a platinum chain.

This pendant comes with a gemmological certificate that states the weight of the natural pink topaz (4.01 carats)
