Edwardian 9ct Gold Moonstone & Rose Diamond Ring

156P
40 Admirers Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

A very pretty 9ct gold ring that was made circa 1910. It has been set with a cabochon moonstone surrounded by a ring of small rose diamonds. Moonstone is the birthstone for the month of June and the stone traditionally given in celebration of the 13th anniversary of marriage. Moonstone was very popular in the Art Nouveau and Edwardian jewellery of the early 20th century as it went so well with the fashions at that time. It looks beautiful when worn.
