Edwardian 18ct Gold Ruby & Diamond Gypsy Ring

818Y
40 Admirers
Written by Olly Gerrish

This is a very pretty and unusual gypsy style ring that was assayed in Birmingham in 1903. It has been set with three rubies in the centre and twelve rose diamonds set in floral motifs either side. The shoulders feature an anthemion motif on each side as further reference to nature.

It is a practical ring to wear as it sits nice and low and wraps around the finger nicely. A special ring which is just as wearable now as it was over a hundred years ago!
