Written by Olly Gerrish

A neat 18ct gold knot ring that was assayed in 1919 in Birmingham. It has been set with three diamonds within diamond shaped settings. The two intertwined knots are engraved and plain. Lover’s knot rings were popular in the early 1900s.

The meaning was “Eternal love that cannot be untied” so it would make a perfect engagement ring.
