Written by Olly Gerrish

A lovely 18ct gold ring in a knot design that was assayed in Birmingham in 1907. Lover’s knot rings were popular in the early 1900s. The meaning was “Eternal love that cannot be untied” so they were given as tokens of esteem. This ring has a small glazed locket to the reverse.

This ring can be worn as a dress ring or even as a wedding band or engagement ring.
