Edwardian 18ct Gold Five Stone Opal Ring with Diamond Set Border

623X
49 Admirers Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

This is a gorgeous opal and diamond ring. It is 18ct gold and was assayed in Chester in 1909. It has been set with five well matched graduated opals that display strong flashes of red and blue with green undertones. Surrounding the opals are small old mine cut diamonds. The effect is beautiful.

It would make a perfect engagement or dress ring.
