Edwardian 18ct Gold Diamond & Ruby Cluster Ring

Written by Olly Gerrish

This is a very pretty 18ct gold cluster ring assayed in Birmingham in 1904. The design is unusual as there is a larger central old mine cut diamond and the cluster is formed of 11 rubies. The shoulders feature an engraved cut out design with scroll motifs typical of this period.

It sits low on the finger so it is a practical ring to wear as an engagement ring.
