Free Australia ShippingA wonderful 18ct white gold ring that has been claw set with a large topaz that has an approximate weight of 9.41 carats. Topaz is very sought after and is quite a rare stone and totally different to a citrine. The name Imperial topaz is said to have originated in 19th century Russia, where the Ural Mountain mines were an important source of topaz reportedly reserved for the royal family. The warm orange of the stone contrasts beautifully with the three rub over and millgrain set diamonds on either side. It was made circa 1920.
It looks amazing when worn.
