Early 19th Century 15ct Gold & Silver Cluster Ring set with an Emerald & Diamonds

994Y
120 Admirers
Written by Olly Gerrish

An unusual 15ct gold ring that was made circa 1830-1850. In the centre is an emerald cut emerald in a rub over setting. It is surrounded in silver settings by eight pinch collet set old mine cut diamonds with a slightly larger old mine cut diamond at the top and bottom of the cluster.  The reeded shank sweeps up to join the cluster and is an unusual trifurcated design with a leaf and bobble motif.

It sits low on the finger so it is a lovely ring to wear with care.
