18ct Gold, Diamond Cluster Ring by Gilbert Albert

292Y
Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

Gilbert Albert was a Swiss jeweller who was born in 1930 in Geneva. He started young and was spotted by Patek Philippe when he was 25. He went on to become head of the workshop and chief designer. Later on he worked for Omega before he opened his own atelier in 1962. He had already won several International diamond awards.

This striking diamond cluster ring has been claw set with an old mine cut diamond that has a known weight of 2.01 carats. Around it are rub over set small brilliant cut diamonds that serve to highlight the large stone.

An amazing ring to wear as a dress or an engagement ring.
