A highly ornate and impressive 15ct gold bracelet that was made circa 1830-1840. At that time there was a reaction to the fine Georgian pieces and jewellery became heavier in look in line with the furniture styles. There was a renewed interest in antiquity especially Grecian, so this bracelet features a Greek key design. However three forget me nots set with turquoise have been used to send a message “To forget me not” which harks back to the Georgian period. It has a hidden tongue clasp so the look is seamless.
