It is composed of four hinged coral curved and fluted batons with 18ct gold engraved floral caps interspersed with gold balls with chased foliate motifs and a heart shaped coral drop that has carved floral motifs on both sides. There is a small glazed compartment to the reverse with braided hair inside. The hidden clasp slots into the side of one of the balls.
