Rare Find
A most unusual weeping or witch’s heart pendant that was made circa 1880-1900. It has been enamelled in translucent Royal blue enamel with an engraved starburst background and stylised silver leaves and flowers around the edge set with rose diamonds and an old mine cut diamond in the centre. The witch’s heart symbolises both a lover being bewitched and a protective talisman to ward off the evil eye.
It can be worn as a brooch or a pendant.
