A sweet 15ct gold butterfly that was made circa 1830. It is unusual in that it is sideways and double sided. It has been set on each side with three turquoise which literally mean “Forget me Not” after the flower of the same name.
Butterflies traditionally represented beauty and elegance and were a symbol of long life.
