Free UAE ShippingAn unusual 18ct gold ring that was made circa 1820. At first it appears to be a pretty cluster set with turquoise and a rose diamond in the centre with tiny rose diamond points around the edge, but on closer inspection it hinges open to reveal a hidden compartment. Some reference this style to a poison ring but I think it would originally have held a lock of hair. The shoulders and shank are typical of the late Georgian period with repousse work featuring leaves and roses.
A beautiful ring that is a collector’s item and so special.
