Art Deco Platinum, Sapphire & Diamond Geometric Ring

A most unusual and beautiful early Art Deco platinum ring. Inside the shank is engraved Natalie and another name then the date 1920.  In the centre is a lovely mid blue sapphire within a diamond shaped surround with petals set with diamonds.  The outside frame is square with more graduated diamonds. The shoulders are pierced with chevrons and set with further diamonds.  There is millegrain detail throughout that adds extra finesse to this gorgeous ring.  It sits low on the finger so it is a practical ring to wear as an engagement ring.
