Rare Find
A highly unusual 18ct gold locket that was made in the 1860-1880 period. It has a domed front and a flat back that hinges open to reveal a glazed compartment. It has been set with four natural split pearls. Above and below are French cut turquoise. In between are small rose diamonds and rubies. The bale has also been set with two rubies and a turquoise. The detail and design on this locket is amazing.
