Victorian 18ct Gold, Natural Pearl & Rose Diamond Carved Half Hoop Ring

A lovely 18ct gold ring that was made circa 1880. It has been set with five well matched natural split pearls. Along the edges on either side are small diamond points as they are called. These were often used to give Victorian rings a line and to add sparkle. The carved half hoop sides of the shank are decorated with crisp scroll work. It curves well around the finger.
