This is quite a large heart shaped locket that opens to reveal one compartment for a photograph. It is 9ct back and front which means that the inner rim is metal and the back and front of the locket are 9ct gold. In the centre is a star motif set with a garnet surrounded by natural split pearls. The literal meaning is that “You are an eternal star”. It was made circa 1900-1915 and would make a wonderful gift to a loved one.
