Art Deco Silver Leaping Hind Brooch by Hugo Grün

Hugo Grün was a highly respected Copenhagen silversmith , whose workshop existed from 1918 to 1985. The designs thus span from late Art Nouveau, called ‘skønvirke’ in Danish, through Art Deco, functionalism, 1940s floral and post second world war modernism. This little brooch is from the 1920s and is a good example of his work.
