Rare Find
A stunning heavy gauge platinum brooch that was conceived and made by Charles Holl in the 1940-1950 period. Charles Holl was a prestigious French jeweller whose workshop was known for creating jewels for Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels. This brooch is of the highest workmanship. It is composed of a double diamond design set with well matched claw set square cut sapphires within a border of claw set diamonds within millgrained settings. The royal blue well matched sapphires have an approximate total weight of seven carats and the diamonds have an approximate total weight of 2.16 carats.
An incredible brooch that will never date.
