An unusual 18ct gold ring that was made circa 1820. The shank is composed of a snake eating his own tail. Inside the shank you can see his scales. This is known as an ouroboros. The ouroboros is an ancient symbol of a snake or serpent eating its own tail, signifying infinity and the cycle of birth and death. The top has been set with four turquoise with a tiny rose diamond in the centre. Turquoise stands for the Forget me not flower and means just that. The diamond means Eternity.
