Rare Find
A stunning 15ct gold cross that was made circa 1820. It has been claw set with foiled flat cut almandine garnets and rock crystals within fine cannetille gold work. Cannetille is similar to filigree work and was popular in the 1820s. Motifs used were scrolls, beehives, bobbles and coils. it has the original bale that has been set with a flat cut almandine garnet. This pendant can also be worn as brooch.
