Rare Find
A heavy gage 18ct gold bracelet that was made in France circa 1890-1910 in the Belle Epoque period. At that time France was recovering from defeat in the Franco-Prussian war, but it was a period of optimism that began around 1880 up until the start of the first World War in 1914. The arts flourished including jewellery and items that were made during that period are generally great quality. This bracelet is no exception with its laurel leaf motifs with diamond and ruby highlights. it has a secure tongue catch with a further clip for added security.
