Rare Find
A dramatic and high quality heavy gage 18ct gold bracelet that truly represents the spirit of 1950s design. It is stylish and wearable. The woven mesh bracelet sits neatly on the wrist and sports two flowers with cabochon rubies and diamond clusters at their heart. It was made in France and is most likely by Alfred Langlois who was based at 3 rue de Normandie & 243 rue Saint-Martin in Paris. Prior to 1932 they created vanity cases, cigarette cases, compacts, etc. for all the major Parisian jewellers. After that date Van Cleef & Arpels signed them exclusively. Langlois also developed the process of mystery setting (invisible setting of gemstones).
