A really lovely 15ct gold and silver pendant that was made circa 1880-1900. It has been claw set with a large oval cut aquamarine that weighs approximately 7.93 carats. The seawater colour of aquamarine has given this gemstone its name as the word “aquamarine” is derived from the Latin word for seawater. Around the aquamarine are over one and a half carats of old cut diamonds in cut down silver settings.
It looks beautiful when worn on a fine gold or platinum chain.
