Rare Find
An amazing large 18ct gold brooch. It has been set with a large Druzy Quartz. Druzy Quartz refers to a layer of minute quartz crystals that have crystallised on the surface of a quartz based mineral. Druzy Quartz has a sugar-like appearance that you can clearly see in this example. They are often found in the hollow cavity of Agate geodes. At one end is a triangular cut peridot and at the other is a rectangular cut pink tourmaline. Pierced through the centre is a pin with a large cultured pearl. It is a brave and unusual design and looks fantastic when worn.
