A beautiful pair of 18ct gold and silver Victorian drop earrings that were made circa 1860-1880. Each earring has a silver diamond set star shaped top with another diamond below that attaches to an oval shaped drop. The drop has been enamelled in Royal blue enamel like the evening sky and in the centre is a diamond set star reflecting the era’s fascination with celestial bodies. To the reverse of each earring is a glazed locket.
A truly wonderful pair of earrings that will light up your day and night.
