The Retro era in the 1940s was all about brave bold geometric designs. Cocktail rings were all the rage and went so well with the dresses that were nipped and tucked with built out shoulders. This 18ct white gold ring is typical of the period and has been claw set with a diamond in a square setting. On either side are claw set small diamonds and there are further diamonds in two curved bands on either side of the principal diamond.
When worn it is a statement ring but not too overpowering!.
