An impressive platinum ring that was made around 1960. It has been set with a large rectangular cut green tourmaline. The tourmaline is a fabulous forrest green that catches the light revealing the depths of its rich colour, and it has an approximate weight of 6.70 carats. On either side are two claw set marquise cut diamonds and a round diamond in a leaf design.
Green tourmaline attracts luck, success, abundance and prosperity. It inspires creativity, and may be used to project, create and manifest one’s goals. It apparently also promotes courage, strength and stamina.
Tourmaline is given to celebrate the eighth wedding anniversary and is the birthstone for the month of October so there are plenty of meanings attached to this beautiful stone.
