A smart 18ct gold ring that was made in the 1930’s. It has been rub over set with a lovely cabochon cut moonstone that has an approximate weight of just over three carats. Moonstones are a beautiful moon like colour and this moonstone is a whitish grey colour with a distinctive white line down the centre. The Romans and Greeks linked the stone to lunar deities like Diana, believing it was formed from solidified moonlight.
It looks wonderful when worn.
