Rare Find
An unusual Georgian ring that was made circa 1750-1800. It has been set with a pear shaped garnet that has been foiled to the reverse. It is surrounded by rose diamonds that have been specially chosen to suit the settings. On either side is a scroll motif set with a further small rose diamond. The shank is ornate with fluted and pierced detail. The reverse is a shell design that was typical for rings from this period.
