Free UAE ShippingThis exceptional 15ct gold ring is in really good condition. It was made in the Regency period circa 1820-1830. It is composed of a flower set with natural split pearls with a ruby in the centre and small rubies around it. On either side are further natural split pearls and small rubies with gold shell decoration. On the reverse is a glazed compartment that would originally have held a lock of hair.
These rings were very popular in the early 1800s and would have been given as tokens of admiration. They are as wearable now as they were then.
