Free UAE ShippingA fabulous pair of 18ct gold and platinum earrings that were made in France circa 1900-1910 in the Belle Epoque era. Each earring has been set with a large pear shaped aquamarine. Each of the aquamarines has an approximate weight of 5.79 carats. Around them are small rose diamonds with further rose diamonds above and around the flower shape at the top. There is an old mine cut diamond set in to the centre of each flower. The aquamarines are well matched stones and are a beautiful pale blue colour. The seawater colour of aquamarine has given this gemstone its name as the word “aquamarine” is derived from the Latin word for seawater.
When worn they articulate well and catch the light in an alluring manner.
