A good example of a 9ct gold Suffragette bracelet set with two Peridots (Green colour meaning “give”), Eight small Pearls ( White colour meaning “women”) and Pink tourmaline (Vermilion colour meaning “votes”).Pink tourmaline specifically symbolised loyalty, dignity, and freedom and was often used in conjunction with green and white stones to create a coded message of support for the movement. It is a gate bracelet design with a hidden box clasp and a safety chain for added security.
This bracelet would have been worn by sympathisers of the Suffrage movement as a sign to other women of their feelings.
