This 18ct gold ring was made circa 1910. It has been claw set with an unusual combination of opals and rubies with a small old mine cut diamond in the centre. The stones compliment each other as the opals exhibit strong red flashes with blue and green undertones. When worn the colours change according to the light. The shoulders are a lovely ribbed design.
