A fairly large 10 carat gold heart shaped locket that was made circa 1910-1920 and may well be American. It is plain with an engraved pattern around the edge on the front. On the reverse it has been engraved at a later date with “Bertie from Mother 9.8.51”. It opens to reveal a compartment for a photograph.
