Rare Find
Art Nouveau jewellery was a revolutionary design movement spanning from roughly 1890 to 1910, characterised by a radical shift away from traditional, gemstone-heavy settings toward highly artistic, organic forms. Instead of clustering diamonds around large central stones, Art Nouveau master jewellers legalised the design itself as the main focal point, using metals and enamels to copy the free-flowing curves of nature.
This English pendant is typical of the Art Nouveau movement and epitomises free flowing botanical forms. It has been enamelled in pale pinkish green translucent enamel and there are four baroque pearls that complete the gorgeous look.
