A very stylish 18ct gold ring set with a rectangular onyx and an old mine cut diamond that weighs approximately 0.20 carats.This ring has been made in the style of a signet ring with the gold rubbed all the way around the onyx, this is a an excellent way to ensure the edges of the brittle material are well protected. The colour of the black onyx contrasts beautifully with the diamond in the centre and this combination was frequently used in the Art Deco period to give a dramatic look. It has a good weight to it and is a smart look when worn.
