Free UAE ShippingA wonderful Scottish brooch that was made circa 1860. Queen Victoria had bought Balmoral castle and her arrival gave rise to a flourishing tourist trade using Scottish pebbles and fashioning them in to jewellery and small items. This brooch has been set with colourful agates such as bloodstone and jasper which had been gathered in Scottish river beds and polished to different shapes. There are also cabochon garnets and citrines which add to the overall design.
It looks wonderful when worn on a lapel.
