Throughout history, rock crystal has been a universal symbol of purity, light, and spiritual clarity. Due to its transparent nature, many ancient cultures believed it was “eternal ice” or a bridge between the physical and spiritual worlds. Elsa Peretti (1940–2021) was a revolutionary Italian jewellery designer and philanthropist, best known for her sculptural, organic designs for Tiffany. As a former fashion model, she reshaped 20th-century jewellery, bringing everyday objects into fine design through signature pieces like the Bone Cuff and Diamonds by the Yard.
