The wings have been set with alternate sapphires and rubies. The body and wings have been realistically engraved. Also, the butterfly is a symbol of the Great Goddess. The image of the Great Goddess goes back to the ancient times of human history, to the Paleolithic. This supreme deity personified heaven and earth at the same time, life and death.
