An unusual Georgian ring that was made circa 1820. It is 15ct gold and silver and is in the form of a flower and has been set in pinch collet silver settings with four cabochon oval and round turquoise and three rose diamonds. It is an openwork design which is typical of Georgian rings from that time and the backs of the settings are domed. Turquoise was often used in Georgian and Victorian jewellery as it stood for “Forget me not” after the flower of the same name.<\/p>\n
