Around it are small old mine cut diamonds claw set in silver. Zircons are fascinating stones and have been worn and treasured since ancient times. They have a wonderful lustre and brilliance and come in a variety of colours. The most favoured colour in the Edwardian period was blue as in this ring which was made circa 1910-1920.
