Lacloche Fr\u00e8res was a Spanish jewellery house known for its Art Deco jewellery and objects. The firm was founded in 1875 by four brothers in Madrid. During the 1920\u2019s and 30\u2019s, the brothers were famous for their brightly coloured, geometric \u201clacquered and enamelled cigarette and vanity cases, set with diamond and precious stone decorative motifs of mixed inspiration.\u201d This brooch is typical of their fine workmanship and has calibr\u00e9 cut rubies set in a tramline setting.
