This is a very pretty ring as it sits low on the finger and curves around the finger nicely. It has an 18ct gold shank with a platinum top and has been set with three slightly graduated oval shaped well matched mid blue sapphires with two circular cut diamonds in between each one. There is millgrain detail on the platinum that adds to the overall design of the ring. This is when the edges of the metal have been worked with a knurling tool to produce tiny beads, hence the French name \u201cMillgrain\u201d meaning a thousand beads.
