I always love rings that have been assayed in Chester as more often than not they have good detail on the shoulders and are very well made. The Chester Assay Office closed on 24th August 1962. It has been set with a pretty mid blue sapphire that is most likely from Ceylon. Around it are twelve rose cut diamonds that give the ring a sweet twinkle and set off the sapphire beautifully. The edge has millgrain detail. The shank divides to three as it meets the cluster giving the ring a light look.
